This is a 1950s trenchcoat, issued to either Army or Marine Corps, not sure which; you may have seen these before. Made of wool gabardine, complete with removable, zippered wool fleece liner, as good as MINT! Freshly dry-cleaned. Has good water resistance due to the gabardine weave.
The ideal coat for rainy weather in near-freezing temps. Only a thick tweed overcoat would be a substitute for what a wool gabardine raincoat can do. I wore it in temps between just below freezing and ca. 12 degrees Celsius or 54 Fahrenheit.
Tagged 36, this fits a size 37 or 38 just as good. I'm size 37, for reference.
Sleeve length is ideal for a 32-33" half arm span.
For EU Loungers this should be a nice deal.
For US Loungers, you'll probably have enough of these already, although the right size doesn't turn up every day - I had to search for months until this 36R turned up.
Let me know if there is interest and I'll provide full specs, measurements and photos.
$80 plus actual shipping of national parcel post Germany (DHL Germany prices)
The green shade of this raincoat does not scream Army and works fine with grey, blue and brown suits - it's not the olive drab shade. The color rendition in the photo is quite accurate.
I just found a tan wool gabardine raincoat, so I could pass this one on.
