Apologies if this has been asked about before, I went through lots of the threads on hair but couldn't find this specific style. I know Lipstick Vintage had instructions on something similar but her site doesn't seem to be working at the moment. So... I'm talking about a forward rolled fringe - I think it's called a front pompadour roll. Any tips?

If anyone knows how to do it do they also know how long the fringe/bangs would have to be to make it possible?

Great, thanks! lots of handy tips there. I think I need to grow my fringe a bit longer first, it's only just down to my eyes at the moment.

If your bangs are super short, you could just use a small barreled curling iron ("tongs") to achieve the same effect....

I'm pretty sure LolitaHaze posted a tutorial for faux bangs, either on here or LJ, but I can't seem to find it. Perhaps somebody else knows where it is! I've been growing out my fringe for nearly a year now and it's down to my chin so if I set it with sponge rollers and brush it under in the morning it gives a similar result, but I see you have a shorter fringe so that may not work.

My bangs fall just below my eyebrows and I can get a similar result with pincurls.

I really need to be patient and let it grow - it's the width of that style I really like and I can't do that at the moment. Thanks for all the tips dolls x
