French Deck Jacket, circa 1950's

Got this just before Xmas. Don't know a lot about it yet, but it's a nice, warm jacket and in like-new condition given it's age.
It's a nice contrast to the Pike Bros N-1 as it has a poly pile lining as opposed to wool, so a tee shirt is comfortable under it.
Very well made but the sleeves are a tad short for me, but wearable.
Note the chunky zip. Very neat piece of gear.

Thanks. It's jungle cloth - or very similar to what I know as jungle cloth.
Even the spare buttons etc are intact.

Nice jacket, but where's the French deck? Could be a whole new concept in outerwear.
