In my continuing quest to clean my home, I am starting to clean out boxes of vintage clothing which are in too poor of condition to wear. I have quite a bit, and would like to share the fabric with members of the Lounge if they so desire.
So, here's a general description of what I'm offering:
A vintage item, child's or adults, with NO LACE, NO Buttons, NO embellishment of any kind. Item will be cut into clean, usable pieces as I see fit. You should assume I have NO Men's clothing; this is women's and children's pieces.
Are you interested in something like this? I already have been in communication with a jewelry artist who uses fabric swatches under glass.
If you are interested, please tell me what amount of fabric you are interested in, and for what purpose.
I see this fabric being good for:
*Doll clothing
*Quilting
*Craft work
*Wrapping small packages
*Created vintage bows for embellishment for hats, hair outfits, etc.
*Other?
The amount of fabric given away will depend on the number of responses. My intention is to wait about a month, and see how many people respond.
Oh, and if you are a member of the Ladies Globe Trotting Hat, please note that and I will try to make sure you get something that way, as it's only fair to spread things around.
