What ho gang,
We are moving the furniture around in our house and one of our vintage wardrobes is now excess to requirements.
It is a shame but we just do not have the room. Inside it has shelving marked with shirts, pyjamas and underwear labels on each shelf and a tie rack. It is a lovely example of CC41 wartime bedroom furniture.
(During the war and for a few years afterwards the British Goverment would only allow 'authoirsed' furniture to be made which could only be purchased with a speical permit. Authorised furniture had a CC41 mark on it). This wardrobe as the CC41 mark stamped on its back.
Contact me if you want it, buyer collects, the item is free, yes free. Do get in touch or else it is off to the local age concern warehouse and I would much
rather keep it in the family.
We are based just north of Milton Keynes, good access for M1 and M40.
