I’m selling an original vintage 1968 MARTIN LANE 7823D G-1 in unbelievable condition considering it’s age.
I actually believe this item to be an unworn deadstock Navy surplus item as there are absolutely no signs of wear (Interestingly there is a small imprinted stamping along the chest flap stating ‘NAVYSURP68’).
The goatskin hide is completely ‘as new’ along with the associated aroma of new leather. The lining is spotless without any signs of wear and even the inside chest popper is without scuff or blemish. The Scovill zipper is lustrous and without any signs of wear / oxidation. As the pictures hopefully show - the highlight is the rich chocolate genuine mouton collar which is luxuriously plush and unspoilt by sun or fading. The only detracting aspect to this jacket is the evidence of some relatively minor moth damage to both the cuffs and waist band due to storage. The damage doesn’t necessitate replacing but of course that’s a personal choice.
This is the exact same contract that Eastman Leather Clothing replicate as part of their ELITE UNITS line for their Vietnam MIG Killer jacket. That reproduction with patches sells for £999 so this is an opportunity to get the real deal in effectively deadstock condition at under half the price!
Please note I am only selling this jacket due to it being too large for me. This one is hard to let go but with the right fit it will make someone incredibly happy!
Measurements:
Tag size: 42
Shoulders: 19’’
Chest: 23’’
Sleeve: 26" (along the outer curve of the sleeve)
Length:26 ‘' (back, from bottom of collar)
Price £400 + shipping + any PayPal fees.

Thanks for looking!
