This is my all time favourite leather and if I could I would buy some in a heartbeat. Aero used it and Alexander Lethers/Simmons Bilt did briefly too. Why do I love it so? Well, it's substantial yet completely comfortable to wear because it's not too heavy and it has great drape plus the grain is a absolute pleasure to take in. Factor in that this russet is the deep blood red kind (my personal preference) and it really is ticking every box. But I'm willing to sell it now because the trousers I'm wearing these days are the kind that sit at the belly button (30s) which means my other jackets are a better length and it's been out of commission for too long.
Fyi I'm 6,1" tall and 82kg and this fits well. With 50s jeans or anything modern even the length is good, though I wouldn't want it any longer. I wear it with the side buckles well cinched in.
It's got a smooth af riri zipper that works like a dream. D rings on the side adjusters and 2 press stud inside pockets. Lining is a tough black wool that has served me very well, I'm sure you'll like it. There are stirm cuffs inside too which are soft and comfy, I don't think they'd impede your watch if you wear one. The label that says steerhide can be disregarded fir I can assure you that's a mistake, this is 100% buffalo or I'm a Dutchman
The picture with it on the chair shows the true colour. The pic with it on the table has a bit of grass on it, that's not a mark. The sunlight in the garden has distorted the colour in the pics of it on the grass
