For sale - a circa 40's-50's Sportclad (JcPenny) brown horsehide half-belt jacket, approximate size 44. Original Sportclad label is intact and liner is in great original condition. The label does not specify horse, but I own enough vintage horsehide jacket specimens - I'm 99% positive it's horsehide.

Retains original Talon main zip that functions perfectly. Original unmarked chest pull zipper works perfectly as well. There are buckle cinches on both sleeve cuffs.

Horsehide leather has no major scuffs or scratches - there are no cracks or rips in the horsehide that I can find. The tops of the shoulders have some beautiful patina just starting to show through. This jacket is in about NOS condition as you'll find from this era.

$325 (includes shipping) anywhere in CONUS. Payment via Paypal "friends style" or add 3% for a Paypal invoice.

Measurements while zipped:

Pit to pit: 23-23.5"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 19"
Shoulder seam to sleeve cuff: 25"
Back of collar seam to bottom hem of jacket: 24.5"
Waist: 21"

Nice one! I've got a similar Sportclad jacket and it is marked as horsehide. Looks to be late 40s with that label and Talon square ended zipper. Nice detail on the adjustable cuff straps. Looks like a great jacket. I find most Sportclad labeled jackets are high quality. I've got a few.
