I won this auction recently, for this hat.
I have wanted an SLS since I had & sold this one here a few years ago.
and the thin ribbon was the clincher. I was hoping for a loose 7 1/4 so I could stretch it up a bit. Alas what I got was a pretty dead-on 7 1/8 that had shrunk down from the original size.
So if anyone has a comparable 7 3/8 or 7 1/2 or loose 71/4... I prefer thin ribbons but nothing is off the table.
Alternately, you see the auction, I will take $47 and actual postage as a purchase (PP only), will ship anywhere.
Addendum - I will say that the one consistent thing about the two SLS's I have owned is that... well, they are just not very good hats & never were, from what I can tell. :eusa_doh:
The felt is rough and the sweat is cardboard like to me.
Seems like a tough felt tho, kinda Akubra like.
But the COURT MANDATED liner, of course, is the kicker:

Don't get me wrong, if this fit me well, or was a good potential stretcher, I'd keep it & wear it. But I bought it mainly for the novelty & the thin ribbon that sucked me in, just sayin' is all... full disclosure dontcha know...
