Hey all,
Selling my brand new Himel brothers heron jacket in a size 40 made from brown shinki horsehide. asking 1800 but open to reasonable offers. original retail was $2,800. Measurements and details below
Measurements:
p2p: 22
shoulder: 17.5
front length from top button: 22.25
sleeve: 24.75
Description: Often imitated but never duplicated, the Heron is the first Himel Bros jacket ever designed. Based on the very earliest and one of the rarest pieces in their vintage collection, this jacket has a unique set of lines that are perfect in their simplicity. The original jacket is an early 1930's Cossack style jacket that is very unique compared to other Cossack jackets in their collection. The back panel is large with a slight curve and the gussets have a simple and angular large shape. The collar was extremely unique and beautiful in that it was the largest collar with a scalloped shape we had ever seen on any other A-1 style jacket. The organic curves of the original jacket were exaggerated and adapted for a more updated version. The unique collar has come to influence many designs and imitations, but none as authentically designed as our own. The buttons are limited supply old stock 1930's fisheye.
