Newbie here so I understand if anyone is hesitant to buy so if interested I have a legitimate check post on my Instagram that I can show as well as grailed. Anyway now for the goods.

Barely worn Supreme x Schott leather A-2 Size L -
Barely worn, purchased directly from supreme right before it sold out. I have far too many leather jackets so this one needs gone. It’s only been worn a handful of times. Buttery soft leather no flaws, no blemishes (only marks are because the cowhide used is top quality so it shows the grain which adds to the beauty) size L $475 OR BEST OFFER. Bump.. also just an innocent question - when is enough enough for selling something?? If I’m buying something it’s not unreasonable for the seller to merely provide measurements and I can easily take those measurements against a jacket that I know fits well and get a reasonable amount of confidence that it will fit or it won’t. However this is not enough for some people apparently and they need you to put the jacket on lift your arms over your head, hop on one leg while dancing the polka. So when do you as a seller decide the extra effort isn’t worth it??

THe simple answer is that it depends on how desperate one is to sell!

If you do a little digging, you will see that measurements go a long way towards selling.

1. Leather is difficult to work with, so there are tolerances in the measurements in manufacturing. A 42 is not always a 42 in the chest for example.
2. They are expensive, people want to make sure they fit, and fit correctly.
3. Some buyers are visual, they use fit pictures to visualize how the jacket will fit themselves based on your physical height and weight including the measurements.

Dont think too hard about it, this is a hardcore place, the benefits of all this work is a jacket that fits and does what the buyer wants and needs. Selling on eBay may be easier for you, but that could come with it's own tradeoff. Fees and possible forced returns...

newbie to the site not selling custom and standard leather jackets. I’ve been doing that for over 10 years or more. first in person and eBay then later Instagram before they changed their algorithm then grailed etc. I appreciate your input certainly but there’s nothing inherently different selling on this site vs other avenues. I understand how to measure a jacket and to your point I see nothing wrong with showing any amount of pictures but I also have a full time job. When I’ve already provided measurements and additional pictures/info to have the person take the fact that it took me 2 days to get fit pictures to them to essentially flake then - yes I take issue with that. There’s a noticeable difference (any seasoned seller would notice) when someone asks for additional info (fair enough) vs asking for the kitchen sink only to flake at the last possible minute (not cool) Anyway cheers for chiming In I do appreciate the feedback.

As mentioned, I spent a career working it, and that classic cartoon came to mind.
