Up for sale is a Filson Double Mac Packer coat with authentic shearling collar.
I am the original owner who bought the coat roughly 15 years ago.
I wore it only occasionally, usually to Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays or out to a special dinner.
The coat is in like-new condition, as I had other coats which I'd wear out in the woods or around town.
For those unfamiliar with Filson, the Double Mac has a second layer of wool around the chest/back area and along the sleeves. This coat has a cozy shearling collar that you can button in an "upturned" position to keep your neck and sides of face warm.
It has several pockets: two chest pockets (one with slotted divider), two hand warmer pockets, two pockets with snaps situated in from of hand warmer pockets, and a large map pocket on the back which is closed by snaps as well.
I've seen these used coats posted online for $500 and up. I do not think Filson carries this model anymore, but when they did, it was a premier coat. I believe Filson sells a lady's version of this still and it retails for $699.
The size of this particular coat is a 42, which it says right on the collar label. It is a dark Charcoal grey in color, which Is what Filson calls it, although I'd say it's almost black. It's worth noting that this is from a smoke-free home.
This is a super-warm coat. Not something you'd throw on for a 65 degree fall day.
This is hardcore and can stand up to some serious winter weather.
I am asking $350. for this coat, which I feel is a very fair deal.
Selling only to domestic U.S. The buyer pays shipping costs.
If it doesn't sell here, it may just make it's way to my nephew's Christmas stocking.
If you have questions, send a PM and I'll try and respond at the end of my workday.
The first "I'll take it", gets it.
Thanks for looking.
