In order to empty the closet (somewhat) I offer the following three hats for sale.
The asking price for each of them is US$ 40 and US$ 100 for the three together.
Two Borsalino's are listed in this post, a Dobbs Game Bird in the next.
1. Brown Borsalino Velours XX 7 1/4
This hat is in great shape. Both the felt and the sweatband are fine. The colour is brown with a hint of grey. The hat is unlined.
2. Silver Borsalino Velours XXXXX 7 1/8-7 1/4
A great felt! This hat originally has been a 7 1/8. During its lifetime it has been stretched to somewhere between 7 1/8 and 7 1/4. The job has been done by an expert, who inserted about half a centimeter of leather between both ends of the sweatband. Perhaps because of the stretching of the felt, the stitches of the bow on the ribbon are somewhat stretched too.
