After trying for weeks to convince myself that I could maybe be a 38 and maybe make it work on the bike, I have to admit defeat.
Unfortunately, this beautifully rare jacket doesn’t fit quite right and I am not one to keep jackets that don't fit if I can help it. . Wanted to offer this to the fine members of TFL first before I explore other options. It’s about a size 38. Comes with mint belt as well.

I'm 5'10, 180lbs and have happily worn it on the bike, but it's a touch snug, and too short for me for a forward riding position.
This jacket was made in 1963 for a renowned Harvard botanist from Medford, Mass. Very cool to have the provenance and it is in truly beautiful condition.
My TFL price is 1500 USD and I'll split the shipping with you.
This is a pretty rare opportunity, which is why I jumped for it. I am certain the new owner will be just as blown away by this jacket as I was.
