I recently bought this one from france and waited a long time for it to get through customs. I had hoped that it was a size 7 so it would fit me.....unfortunately for me its a 7 1/4. The size tag lists this as a punti 5 1/2 or a size 58. This equates to a US 7 1/4. I took measurements of the sweatband (7 7/8 x 6 1/2) which yields a circumference of 22.6 inches. This hat could be a large 7 1/8 or a small 7 1/4

Thanks, Size 7 hats do come up all the time. But finding these old velours in any size is usually a pretty difficult task.
