Flipping a two-way separating zipper: possible?

Does anyone know if it's possible to switch what side the zipper slide is on? I just ordered a leather jacket but it has a left hand zipper slide and I'm wondering if I can make it into a right hand slide or will it be more hassle than it's worth? I'm trying to learn all about zipper anatomy and how mobile pins and fixing pins work, but the internet doesn't seem to be too forthcoming with the info I need; hoping someone here might have info. Thanks!

Never tried to do that, but at first blush, I would say no. Will probably have to buy a zipper with a right hand slide. Dena can install it, and might even be able to match the zipper.

Those left hand slides are a pain. At least one of my Aeros has a left hand slide, and I hate it. Just backwards. Like the Brits drive on the wrong side of the road.
