Thanks. Great stuff! I live here and still never tire of old NY films like this. Did you see the size of the meal being served free of charge on the flight? Those days are gone, for sure.

That's my New York right there!!! that's what New York looked likewhen I was a little kid. I even went to many of those places shown. I'm saving this one.

Me too! I would have been 3 when this film was made. I remember my grandparents taking me to "RADIO CITY"!!! I had no idea what it was, but I thought it was a BIG DEAL.
BTW, when I flew on a DC-8 from Idlewild (young folks, ask your elders about Idlewild) on Alitalia in 1962, they served a meal like that one. Filet mignon and asparagus. Yumm.
Was there ever a more beautiful plane than the Constellation?
