Greetings all,
I've been looking for the perfect hat for a couple months, ever since I sat down with my father to watch his Humphrey Bogart collection. I stumbled across this site in my searching, which led me to my first two purchases on ebay. I've enjoyed goggling at all your fine headgear, so here's my contribution. I still know next to nothing about hats, so any information would be greatly appreciated!
The first is a wool knox, which was listed as vintage, but I wasn't aware that any vintage hats were made in wool..... It's still way softer than the modern stetson I've been wearing until now!

The second is from Brooks Brothers, which I'm only familiar with as a clothing company that no longer sells hats. Anyone know when they might have stopped producing these? This hat has hardly left my head since it arrived. I was considering adding some dents, but the simpleness of the current bash has grown on me.

Thanks for assuring me I'm not the only one out there with an interest in these things (everyone else in Montana thinks they're cowboy hats!)
