I checked the measurements on the 48L cal and it was made for me, then saw the $900 price. Just a bit disappointing. Further down he states his profit margins are small LOL!!
The belt is worth $200. The collar is worth $200. Jacket looks mint. If I ever found one in this condition with all the extras that I knew for sure would fit me how I like, I'd hit BIN so fast. Worth it to try and grab a little bit cheaper for sure though.

I’m sorta with you on the collar. The belt, them be Cal.leathers pricing. I’m totally with you on a mint vtg Cal, fully rigged. $900 is a bit, but I have gone in pretty high myself.

Same Seller as the Bates "Suede" Listing........ This one appears to be a Brooks TreeBark Camouflage jacket.......Notice how it blends eerily into the tree bark if you blur your eyes just a little........ Its uncanny!!!!!!! It's like I'm looking at Predator.....wearing a leather jacket......:eek::rolleyes:

I think I’ve seen that jacket in Walmart’s hunting section.

$375 for that 70s Brooks is a bit steep too...even with the partly functioning cloaking device.

My hero right there lol.

I’ve got a bunch of those belts if you need one. New, old, basketweave, no weave, etc. Just pay shipping.
shoot, I may take you up on that if I ever find a Cal that covers my belt line. I can't rock the belt on top of belt look. Maybe 30 years ago and if I had a guitar in one hand.

Wow! Fit looks great on you! I think I may be a 44 in this jacket then?

I am 6' 3" and typically wear a size large in tees and denim jackets. Relatively new with the leather jackets. I have an MF Campus jacket and I think this jacket fits me the best, but is also a little snug.

MF Sizing- Tag sz 42:
P2P: 23"
Shoulder:19"
Back: 24.5"
Sleeve: 26.5

Would like to hear your thoughts on if I should go for a 42 or 44 in the ELMC Californian.

You might want to try the Eastman in a Long version: an extra inch on both body and sleeves.

And what size are you recommending I take?

The reason I am leaning towards this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/363419124915

Is because the chest measurement does not look like it is exactly a 24". Looks to me more like a 23/23.5". I could be wrong though. I do not want the jacket to feel overly baggy. Would like it to be a slim look and not sure if this 44 would achieve this. Thoughts?

I have seen many in great shape for half that price, But i hadn't really considered the cost of the collar and belt which I am not interested in either. $900 is definitely higher than my threshold of comfort for a jacket, but the scary thing is that $ amount seems to be gradually increasing the more I visit this site.

And the pre owned ones are going up too. Still a bit of hope in finding one without a label and the seller not knowing it’s a Cal. But if not, it’s trending up.

There was that guy who bought one in a thrift shop in Bay area. Straight zip, absolute mint condition with collar. Came with the badge holder unattached and also the fury neck guard thing. Had a local store label on it which probably prevented anyone not in the know from understanding its value. I think he paid sub $100. I bought it from him. Lets just say he was pretty well compensated for his time LOL. But I love that jacket. Another one I wish was an inch longer but the thing is so damn perfect, I don't care. Could fit like a mesh crop top and I'd still wear it proudly.
