Nice one. The lining Reminds me of this Ralphs-Pugh. Bay area all the way.

More knowledgeable members will know if this is accurate but without seeing and feeling the leather in person this really looks in great condition along with interesting conmar pictures zips and a paper clip scovill main zip and some really neat stitching.

I'm not familiar with this brand / maker but judging by the zipper pulls it's more likely to be 60s than 50s. The leather looks thin and of mediocre quality. Not worth its asking price imo, maybe half that.

Agreed but keep an eye on this seller. She periodically sells some vtg gems. And she was pretty cool when I communicated with her.

I'm with @Marc mndt on this one; Teardrop pulls appeared later on & the overall styling and some specific design details look 1970's to me. I am pretty sure that's the case with this jacket.

What Marc says. I had a Foster and Sons jacket, sold it quick. Worth $60-80.

Irvin Foster was a known and reputable early maker of jackets. He had a few Military Contracts. Eventually, I understand his family business evolved to include his sons. These FOSTER & SONS jackets coming later and drifting into the fashion/sportswear category are levels below the older ones in terms of hide quality and also IMO--coolness.
This is a decent one in good shape. Still, as Will Zach says, not worth much.

This one's going back. Looks good on seller's pictures, doesn't it? Too bad, because the fit is perfect and I love the jacket. Will be looking for one in better shape from now on.

Beware of t.his one if it re-appears.

Terminal Rot-you can't not mention this damage, no excuse for that. I just bought two non MC Fieldmaster jackets. They are both Appalachian not sure on this MC jacket. The Fieldmaster label does not appear until 1956.

I've owned a few Foster and Son including one just like this. Got to agree with above comments. They are good for a price, but not this price. I don't recall what I sold this one for. It had a Talon paper clip zipper.
