Haven't looked at the Etsy jacket recently, but I would guess this one is just like it. Has the same label, both Horsehide, both made around the end of the line for RP jackets. There is another on ebay also appears to be same model.
By this time, late 40s, this seems to be their most popular/common model.
I'm working on the Ralphs-Pugh Collectors Guide when this shows up, so had to have it for examination and picturing!
More RP information just came to me this week from my closet, so stay tuned for more.
As soon as I saw that jacket I was in buy mode. As soon as I saw the size, I knew it had Terry's name on it!! Can't wait for the examination report and pics. Terry, you can justify this purchase as PURE RESEARCH for the RP Guide. We know you only bought it for the "Research"!!!

Were size 38/40 good wear ever made?! I swear I’ve never seen one that could fit me.
Just found this jacket for a decent price, could not find any info about insignia leather co, ever heard about it ?
Its not an original, and its not a well known repro jacket maker, but the jacket looks pretty good in the image shown. How decent of a price? I wouldnt go much over $200
What makes this jacket valuable rarity alone is not enough?Definitely a find, whether it's a deal... I would go as far as to say it is, considering how rare these are. In any case, stunning. @Mysteryo ??
