The jacket has been listed on eBay for months. Started out as an auction with a minimum bid of $999 lol. This jacket was discussed here. Just showed up on ebay and already taken down. Does this jacket belong to a member here?

Gone for $400. Pre war Scully in excellent condition marked a 44. I did not see the Scully label until today. I Certainly would have paid $400. I may own this same jacket without the labelsSold for $400. Higher than my estimate of $300. The market has spoken.
Particularly rare to see a police jacket this age in seemingly unused condition.Gone for $400. Pre war Scully in excellent condition marked a 44. I did not see the Scully label until today. I Certainly would have paid $400. I may own this same jacket without the labels
Really? I have one with that label. Some of them were sold under "A Taste of Leather" label.

It's a great buy - beautiful jacket in a big size from the early 40s in near mint condition. I see lots of less spectacular jackets trading hands for moreI bought it.
It turns out the seller had the measurements wrong. The p2p is only 20" so I canceled the sale. It's a great buy - beautiful jacket in a big size from the early 40s in near mint condition. I see lots of less spectacular jackets trading hands for more

Lol really? That's at least 22" if not more. Seller clearly didn't know how to take proper measurements even though I provided him with instructions and sample pics.It turns out the seller had the measurements wrong. The p2p is only 20" so I canceled the sale.
