Greg just received the leather he'll be using for my Idaho 2.0. Shinki pony.

I love the color richness. A bit too shiny for my taste but I reckon it will tone down with some wear.

Wow, this looks fantastic! 100% my taste, both colour richness and the shiny appearance! As it's not 100% your taste I can disburden you from your obligation to buy this jacket from Greg...so no worries at all. Problem solved!

I couldn't resist and was just talking to Greg. He fortunately has enough of the ponyhide to make a second jacket out of it next week. Payment = done! Delivery of a modified Michigan in 2 weeks or so...quite long but OK! Fit pics to follow on April 12th.

Nice, congrats. What happened to the waiting list? April this year or next year? :)

Haha...I just wanted to cause a shocking moment before the weekend begins but I obviously failed :) As much as I like to have another FL jacket, especially made of this beautiful brown ponyhide, there is no space left in my close and I really would not know which style. Probably only a denim jacket for Summer and that's it. I was asked today if I would be willing to sell my still new Centinela but I don't think so....then I would both have space and funds, but makes no sense to sell my grail jacket

How on earth are you getting that done in two weeks?

I placed my order in late November.
I was originally told i would have my jacket finished in March, that slipped...
I was then told the pattern would be started the 1st of march and my mockup would be done by the 12th, that didn't happen...
I was then told on the 11th of march that my pattern would be done by the end of the week, that didn't happen...

I don't mind being patient, i'm not in a rush, but if Greg starts going all JC and pushes out a jacket in two weeks for some clients whilst making others wait for no good reason i am going to loose my sh*t!!!

I just got an update from Greg, appointments came up to look at new workshops this week so he had to take them. He said my jacket will ship next week. Ordered late November as well.

Most-TFL April Fools Joke ever
Don't listen to what I write sometimes these days, my doctor says that's just the side effects of the never-ending lockdown, staying in home office for a loooong time, taking care of kid(s) while working :D

I’m also at the doorstep to receive my mock-up.
