Please help me to identify this recent purchase - £60 from a military dealer at the Lincoln Antiques Fair yesterday. It has a lot in common with shearling flight jackets in terms of its construction but it doesn't have any military labels - only has the CC 1941 Utility Mark and a manufacturer's label 'Shilmoor London' (W1- so a bit of a posh shop?).
It fits me snugly and disappears under my Aero A2, but my stepdaughter has claimed it stating I may borrow it sometimes. so no real worries if it is a fashion item and not a theatre made, or private purchase C3 or similar.
