Farewell Post-war suits!

I thought I would revive Marc Chevalier's tradition of "eulogizing" particular items headed for our favorite auction site.

First up is a '49 union tagged blue flannel "Bold Look" suit by Roos Bros. Check out the hollywood waist with outside brace buttons.

1950's LA confidential style patch pocket suit by Trojan Clothes of Hollywood.

1940s ('39 tagged) by Lebow clothes. Hmmm...on second thought, maybe I'll keep this one.

The tie in this pic is excellent.
That is an Egyptian motif, correct? And vintage?

Honestly, I have too much stuff that I don't wear. two thirds of my collection is just sitting at my mother's house an hour away. I just posted these and the zoot suit from the other thread up for auction today. I'm keeping the Lebow.
