As long as I can remember my Papa Glen was my best friend and the most important person in my life. When I lost him, his Grandfather's beautiful roll top desk became mine just as he intended. To me, this desk is my Papa. When they told me he was gone I ran into his office and held on to it just to try to hold on to him. It's one of the most precious things I will ever own.
I had planned to move the desk to my house when the weather broke, but unfortunately, my Grandmother's house was flooded last week. I am in dire need of the name of the best in the business when it comes to antique furniture restoration.
I'm usually a DIY kind of girl, but this means so much to me I feel that it's better to leave it to the professionals. Please, if anyone can suggest a specialist in the mid-west I would be forever grateful. Cost is not an object, my only concern is it's restoration.
