Extremely unusual 1920's Newsboy Cap

Vintage find: yes. Vintage deal: not really. But I've never seen another cap in this style. The buckle on top might have sold me, but the size of the brim is amazing!

could be late teens. i have a picture in a book ( not scanned in yet ) of a boy wearing a similar strap and buckle combo hat in 1919.

That would make sense for it to be slightly older. If it didn't cost me $45 in shipping, I'd be on it like white on rice.
