I'm watching a couple patterns on eBay that are really stunning. Since they are French patterns and I don't read French, I want to minimize the confusion, when it comes to grading and working with them. One pattern is listed as size 48 and the other is listed as 44 and advertised specifically as "European sizing". I know modern sizing is different, ie a Modern Burda 48 doesn't mean 48in bust. Can someone help me figure out what measurments a 1930's size 48 pattern would fit?
