No, seriously. I just had to post this. I emailed the seller trying to educate him on that hat. That it's not a "top hat," that it's not "rare," and that it mostly certainly is not by any stretch of the imagination worth $295.00, and that he should realistically be looking to get $50.00 for it at the very most. I was polite about it. He never responded.
Somebody should make a best offer of $5.00. It does have an "ultimate finish," after all.

I understand that it's against policy here to post live auctions, but the Classified section is an exception. I generally would never do such a thing as I may be posting a live auction of an item somebody is closely following, and by drawing attention to it, the price may go far higher than if attention was never paid to it by a post here at all. This, though, is definitely an exception. Nobody here will be bidding on it.
