Brand New with all tags, in original packaging. Recently received this Roughwear 1401 A-2 flight jacket and unfortunately it does not fit as hoped.
This is a 42 long. At 5'10 to 5'11 it fits me well length-wise, however being a pretty slim guy, It feels a touch roomy on me.
Approximate measurements:
Shoulder to shoulder - 18.75"
Chest zipped up, pit to pit - 22.5", Back pit to pit - 23"
Back length, incl waistband knit - 25"
Sleeve length, from shoulder to end of cuff - 26.5"
The jacket is made of Havana brown Warhorse horsehide, which has had Eastman's unique TIMEWORN treatment, so it has a vintage look and feel to it, although being brand new. No need to wait years to break it in... the leather is soft and supple, and already has an amazing patina and character to it.
This jacket with the Timeworn finish, will currently cost you £1180. Selling for £950 plus postage, with no wait.
Will post anywhere.

Great looking jacket! 42 long though? 25" length for Eastman sounds like a standard 42. My Eastman m422a 42 long is 27" down the back and my Eastman B3 40 long is like 26".

Brett, on the photos above it looks like the jacket had some HWT.
That's why (may be) the measurements are now much closer to size 42R than to size 42L?
I like the jacket, its grain and colour look fantastic.
Does its zipper look wavy?

No HWT! I received it brand new from Eastman, who did their official Timeworn treatment before sending to me, so its all legit. (I do not know their exact processes, its very secret Gary always grins when I ask him... Although I'm sure there is someone here who knows).
The Timeworn is hand done and varies from jacket to jacket and hide to hide.
Rob told me this was the best Timeworn jacket, they at ELC, had seen to date!
No zipper creasing. The added length was subtle, so may be closer to a regular. For me the lengths are perfect, but the body has a bit too much room and theres a slight shoulder-droop, to be a keeper for me.
This jacket was to be my final swan-song A-2, a Jimmy Stewart RW1401 clone, before the price increases.
Alas, another massive disappointment, after the Headwind.
Both these jackets are 'immensely' gorgeous and would be instant keepers... IF they fit me.

@jeepjeep13, the RW1401 is by way of its pattern, a bit shorter in the back than some other contracts. The front remains at std length, but the back is a touch shorter, which is why I had some length added. Its deceptive, unless you compare it side by side with other jackets of the same size. My previous size 40 ELC RW1401 had a 24" back length.
Yes, this is how the Timeworn treatment turns out... IF you are lucky.
I've seen some jackets at the pop up that don't look as nice, and some that appear to me at least, a little over done. This one was done perfectly. I sent Nigel a massive montage of the effect I was hoping for, Ideally mimicking Jimmy Stewarts RW1401. He did a perfect job. It appears authentic and has some beautiful patina.

That explains it then. Yea, I imagined that the time worn finish shortens it a bit, but also figured it was a smaller contract than my M422a.
There is an Eastman Monarch a2 on ebay right now which is labeled as a 44L, but has almost identical to the measurements of my m422a 42L. I'm pretty temped to make an offer and see for sure.

Showing some close up pics. Details, especially the grain and patina developing...The lower 3 pics are a better representation of the colour.
