Located in Malton, Yorkshire UK. This is no ordinary Museum - Not another Military Museum - Not a glass showcase Museum - They've reconstructed scenes using movement, lighting, sound, smells, even smoke machines to transport you back in time, to make you feel that you are there taking part in history.

Well worth a visit though haven't been for years.

My Grandad was a local policeman dutring the war and part of his beat was to patrol the roads/lanes around the camp on his push bike.

A great museum to visit, and when you've done that go 10 miles back towards York and visit the stately home - Castle Howard, where Brideshead Revisited was filmed. A rather stunning home.

I do love Yorkshire.....its my birth place...[huh] need to go back!
