This is an Old Town Sage Moleskin Single breasted Waistcoat in a larger size (tagged Size 46, please check dimensions for fit).
My wardrobe is largely from Old Town (https://www.old-town.co.uk/pages/general-idea ) a clothing business based in Holt, Norfolk, producing small numbers of hand made quality workwear. The designs by Will Brown are largely inspired by traditional designs. For reference, see Monty Don on Gardeners’ World, who often wears examples of their their clothing.
I rarely sell any of my Old Town clothes, especially older patterns, which are no longer available. I have recently shed some weight since lockdown and this lovely waistcoat no longer fits.
The single breasted pattern is no longer produced by Old Town (a shame as it’s a great, comfortable pattern), but the RRP for the straight edge waistcoat in moleskin is £92, with a wait of 6-8 weeks.
Sage Moleskin fronts,cotton back, 6 button fastening with buckled strap, Two flapped, welted pockets. Soft, warm fabric in lightly worn condition, slight rubbing to some edges, but does not detract from visual appearance. No smells, stains or holes, all buttons tightly fastened.
