you always get these suits in early 20s catalogues. tough corduroy suits for the working man:

It was an historic event in 1976 when Eaton's issued its last ever catalogue. We still have a copy (not sure anyone needs to see THOSE vintage fashions!). Timothy Eaton started his first store just down the road from us in St. Marys, Ontario.

The chain sadly went under in the 90s, was briefly revived as an upscale division of Sears, but faded away for good soon after.

A great find!
