EASTMAN B2 WINTER FLYING CAP

Standardized on April 21, 1939, as the regulation winter flying cap, the B2 cap became immensely popular among American aircrew.
Eastman Leather now produce the most accurate reproduction available. The outer shell is North American sheepskin finished with a polyacrylate dark brown lacquer; the interior is 1/4 inch fleece depth shearling. The visor is vegetable-tabbed steerhide shoulder leather, and all of the trim is horsehide. Even the interior label is woven to military specifications!
The cap is constructed to the original 5 panel plan and each seam has the correct zig-zag cover stitch adding strength to the overall construction.
B2 caps are very, very rare indeed on the secondary market--a testament to how popular they are with their owners, who tend not to part with them.
