Recently bought this suit from Baron Kurtz...However, I think I was fantasizing when I thought it'd fit me...Sadly, it's a little too big for me to wear and so I put it back up here for grabs by any interested FLoungers...

I'm not trying to make any profit off of this suit...

I'm asking what I paid for it:

$110 + shipping = $ 125 (continental usa)

It's made by HSM and it's of VERY good quality....

As described by Baron Kurtz:

A really high quality suit. Hart, Schaffner and Marx were certainly one of the better, if not the best, maker in the USA in this era. The style and union label put it to the early 1940s. A wonderful black and white GlenUrquhart check with multiple blue overcheck/overstripe. Not really a prince of Wales check, but approaching it.

Measurements taken by Baron Kurtz:

Meaurements

JACKET
Chest 20"
Waist 18.5"
Shoulders 17.5"
Length 30.25" (from bottom of collar to hem in the back)
Arm 24.25" (from the shoulder seam)

TROUSERS
Waist 15"
Outseam 40.75"
Inseam 29" + 1.5" hem - so could get another 1" and maintain the cuffs.
Cuff 9.5" across, 1.625" deep

Darn, I wish I could afford this suit... that comes alot closer to my size than the one I have now... Good luck selling it though, I'm sure someone has the dough :)

Where is it too big? Generally, if the shoulders fit, any excess material can be tailored away.

I'm interested in buying the suit, but I have not yet reached the post quota for PMs. Is there anyway around this, slicedbread?

Sure! If you'd like to buy it, then how would you like to pay for the suit?

I accept paypal, google checkout (preferred), and money order
