The measurements difference is between 0.3 cm, the other fact is they did not rotate right sleeve in exactly angle like left one.

I’ve had issue with the sleeves as well. I think Carlos said it best when he described the patterns as 2 dimensional vs 3 dimensional. For whatever reason the sleeves just don’t sit right when they use a two panel sleeve. The 3 panel sleeves are far better but I still think something is missing, be it curvature, rotation or I don’t know what and I certainly don’t know how to convey, describe or illustrate it. But there is a clear difference in the sleeve construction of these two jackets, and it shows in the way they sit and crease. Both 5 Star.

I also think it has something to do with how the sleeve is attached at the armhole and the shape of the armhole itself.
When I flatten out the sleeves of my vintage stuff or Aero or whatever, they are not shaped anything like the 5 Star sleeves. They won’t even sit the same way on the ground. I haven’t had the mismatched sleeve diameter issue but I also have never really liked they way the sleeves were set. I think the two panel sleeve is essentially just an A-2 type and that just does not work on other jackets at all. Ever.

From a func perspective probably not. But when you get one that fits right it feels like an old friend every time you throw it on.

I thought I saw a difference at first glance… and now I don't. They seem even. What's more, if you did have one sleeve that was slightly wider, that wouldn't inherently look out of place either as it's not unheard of in bespoke to widen a sleeve to account for a watch or something. (Not that Five Star is bespoke; I'm just talking about garments in general.)

Ok but what is the total width? Now you're measuring just part of one panel.

Numbers do not lie. Therefore, it would already be helpful for a judgment. I would not have noticed any significant difference in the last photos. And in the photos with the tape measure, I see that something was measured, but nothing more.

Ok, here is measurement. I measure from 8,12,15,20cm from end of cuff. (By the way right cuff diameter is 0.5 inches narrower than left).
The difference between two sleeve is from 0.4-0.6cm, totally acceptable range. But look at last picture showing the sleeves has been attached to different angle, which I guess is the main reason cause the visually difference.
I don't know if Dena can re-attach the right sleeve for me?

What's yours problem?! I tried to find out why it looks trimmer than other sleeve, and then post some comparison with Vanson.
