Dobbs 20 Fedora

This hat is a Dobbs Twenty Fedora. I believe it is a 'Gay Prince' from the 40s or 50s. Size is 7 to 7 1/8. Felt is soft and in excellent condition without holes or problems. Hat needs rethreading on the front brim. Sweatband leather is intact, needs oil, and some moron marked it 7 1/4 in marker. Silk is pretty worn and needs reconditioned.

Brim is 2 3/4, and crown is about 5 inches. $75 plus shipping.

Actually I now hear this is from the thirties, and the wear on the silk and leather sweat are considerable, but the felt is soft, straight, and as luxurious as it is strong, and ready for another 80 years of service, with a little help.

Rescue this gay little prince from obscurity. It'l make a beautiful hat with a little work. Make me an offer I can't refuse.
