Do you like Cotton hat liners?

I have a 40's Lee Trinity that has a cotton liner rather than a satin one. I really like it as it is MUCH cooler. I am wondering if any of you have found this to be true, what you prefer or if you have other favorites. Silk satin perhaps?

I also have a Lee Trinity that I recently picked up on a trip to Albuquerque. I didn't know that the lining was cotton, but it is noticeably coarser than the satin/silk types. Has a somewhat different feel, but I hadn't really given it much thought...

I also recently acquired a Dobbs Pacesetter (definitely a newer cheapie fur lid) that has a fabric sweatband and no liner. It is the coolest, temperature-wise, of all my fur-felts...your mileage may vary
