This is another flea market find. There was a time not too long ago when there were many open markets filled with gems but they dug up the parking lots, torn down great old buildings and put up horrible rentals and basically destoyed Sixth Avenue.
Douglas , 6th Ave and 23rd st was my stomping ground for hats for a lot of years . I would go very early on the weekends and sometimes find great hats . It's all over now . They're mostly gone . My best find there was a Knox 40 in it's original box with the hunting scene , never worn . My size 7 1/2 in a dove gray . I paid 16 dollars about ten years ago .
