Did YOU buy this suit?

I'm always hoping that Fedora Loungers find vintage suits on eBay. This one is a size 42 Long. It's probably from about 1940. Did anyone here buy it? Click on:

My point is that you still CAN find vintage suits (and shoes) at good prices and in relatively good sizes on eBay. If you're a size 42 Long, want a vintage '30s or '40s suit, and didn't see this one on eBay .... don't give up: keep looking.

Too big for me, unfortunately

I did finally snag a blue p/stripe, though, from Ebay UK about three weeks back, a second example to prove your point Marc that a fellow shouldn't give up looking for that sought-after suit. It needs some minor adjustments at the tailor's, for which I have no ready cash at the moment, but when it's been altered I'll post pics.

Nice looking suit, I hope a fellow Lounge member got it too!
