Selling this Good Wear/Diamond Dave A-2 size 46 (Aero 21996 contract/pattern).
OK, going to try this again…………frankly, it’s a STEAL at $250 priority shipped in the US.
Europe will be $310 shipped, it’s heavy. Europe folks, please don’t ask me to falsify the customs form, I am not comfortable with that and will pass on those offers……..sorry.
A super jacket, combat clone style with vintage “wear” as well as wear by previous owner and me. There is a blemish/imperfection with the leather - very tiny on back upper left side (see photo - 6th picture down). I did have the sleeves shortened which was the issue the last time I listed it and included the jacket’s original sleeve measurement in the listing by mistake. I had no memory of having the sleeves shortened but I must have based on an email from John Chapman. I still don’t really remember having it done. It must have been part of a group of jackets I had some alteration work done on? It’s professional work and I have no problem saying it was done as I have shortish arms and I have had shortening done a number of times but not always. When you can’t remember a detail like this with a jacket, it means you (I) have too many jackets!!!!!!!
Hand tinted steerhide. Super work, great details, no stitch holes. A partnership between the Diamond Clothing Co. and Good Wear Leather. Please make sure you are 100% that the listed measurements work for you. I am a 44 regular and the jacket fits well…….roomy actually with plenty of length in the sleeve (for me). A superb A-2, I am just not wearing it. No hot water treatment, shrinkage, etc. There was one previous owner of the jacket for a short time who bought it directly from the Good Wear sales page. I purchased it from him.
PM me with questions, first one to say, “I will buy it” gets it. PayPal please. Measurements in inches, jacket laying flat, taut but not stretched:
Pit to Pit: 24 inches
Front-Length (windflap): 24 inches
Back (neck seam to end of knits-includes knits): 26 1/2 inches
Sleeve (shoulder seam to end of knits - includes knits): 24 1/2 inches
Shoulders straight across: 19 1/2 inches
