Dating Stetson boxes?

Hello!

Is there any way to date a Stetson (no puns please like "give it flowers ) by it's hatbox?

For example - the box on the auctions below:

Those all look like 1950s boxes to me. It is difficult to explain how to tell the difference because they used different boxes for different models of hat. The round Stetson hat boxes are older. The Green ones and the Red ones are from the 1940s for sure. If you find a Whippet in a round red box with the Royal Stetson crest ont he side then it is from that era. The green round one is difficult to place and I don't remember it perfectly as I am away from my boxes at the moment but I will check them when I get home.
