Dapper Day... it's one of those events that came about long after the Fedora Lounge, but I'm sure most of us wish it had been here years before. Back when we were hitting the streets in our fedoras and three piece suits trying to find out where we could still get a leather soled wingtip shoe when all Penney's had on the shelves were uncomfortable black rubber and leather upper representations of the classics we love.
Things have heavily changed since then.
Last night was LACMA's (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). It was a crowd of well turned out ladies and gentlemen with their hats and heels and tailored goods... a scene the likes of which would not have been seen in the 90s. It was quite amazing.
I can't wait until the next Dapper Day, just to feel at home again in a sea of well dressed people, dancing the night away.
