Dancing like you have NEVER seen!

I MC-ed the dance for the NY Swing Dance Society this evening (Sunday 12/7). We had the great Houston Person, He knocked the joint out. A great night if it had only been that. But Frankie Manning was there, age 94, and he led the old Shim Sham Shimmy, even with a cane. Fantastic. It would have been a great night if it had only been that. But this little skinny dude started dancing, and nothing could stop him. I was told his name is Joseph Wiggan. He's performing in a show right now, but you'll have to go to Paris to catch it.
He's a classic example of Balanchine's dictum "I don't want people who want to dance, I want people who HAVE to dance!" This young man has to dance. He can hardly stop himself. He went on for about half an hour.
