custom shirt questions

ok one of my problems is the belly neck and arm length is NOT in anyones off the shelf size.

So, as I need a button down collar, I think I might just go with the underside button [it does not look like a button down but is]

next pocket yes or no

monogram yes or no

if yes on the sleeve, on the pocket or on the chest no pocket.

French cuffs yes or no

if yes square cutaway or rounded cuffs

right now I am leaning to french and either cutaway or square no pocket not sure on the monogram


HELP please

oops: edit, what about the white collar/cuffs with contrasting color shirt, yes no or NEVER, I like the look but should it only be on a solid suit?

This web site will give you a ton of great advice. I plan on purchasing books on these matters, yet I am hip deep in learning the construction of such clothing at the moment and coordination with other outfits is secondary right now. I plan on reading this site completely and it has helped me a lot so far.

Hmmm... if the question is what should you get on your custom shirt I think you are best qualified to answer that question.

As for opinions on shirt options, the sky is the limit. I like button downs, french cuffs, monograms, etc. etc. Variety is the spice of Life and all that jazz. Take the time to go through some of the stickies at the top of the page and you will see how varied the options were in the past.
