The holiday season will shortly be upon us!
1) Vintage black cummerbund from B. Altman. B. Altman was one of the most iconic of New York's department stores--it's not surprising that it was chosen to be the store where Mrs. Maisel worked when she needed to get a job! This lovely cummerbund likely dates from the 1960s. It is likely silk, and is adjustable from sizes 28 to 48. It is in excellent condition. Asking just $20, or offer, shipped in the USA.
2) Brooks Brothers red cummerbund with blue neats. All silk. Made in the USA. This has a small blemish, and so is in Very Good condition only. Adjustable; maximum waist c. 39". Just $15 shipped in the USA--basically free!
3) WONDERFUL vintage cummerbund in Princeton Orange from S. Fisher of Burlington Arcade, London. Founded in 1959 and closed in 1997 S. Fisher was one of the best stores for cashmere anywhere in the world. (Burlington Arcade gave its name to J. Press' "Burlington Knot" ties as Mr. Press was so imPRESSed with the wares available in it!) It also offered wonderful and expensive accessories--such as this beautiful cummerbund. All silk and lined in S. Fisher's signature scarlet lining this is exquisite. Ideal for a Princeton graduate--or just someone who appreciates high quality menswear! Maximum waist c. 35.
