How bout posting the perfect cuff, Sports Jacket, or Suit, dress shirt combo for a newbie to the wonderful world of fine menswear ???????

You mean shirt cuffs, trouser cuffs, cufflinks, or...? (or ,,,?)

Cuffs are almost always part of the shirt and made of the same material, or else plain white. They're not really an item with great variation, altho there are a few basic shapes.

French or One-Button probably make up 90% of all shirt cuffs.

Hmm. I have no idea, except that you don't want more than about 1/2" peeking out with your arms at your sides. It's not a style question so much as a fit issue.

Thanks Fletch, Yes I am asking as I have long arms and don't really like the way off the rack dress shirts fit me in the sleeves. I might have gotten just a little too short a sleeve the on the last dress shirt I bought. I am going to have my wife measure me so , neck and sleeve so I get the right fit.

Yes, especially if you wear a French or link cuff, you want to have a bit of it showing. Otherwise all they do is get in the way, and don't add to your look.
