Costume Party...1940's ideas.

I wasn’t planning on attending any Halloween parties this year. My friend, however; convinced me to attend a costume party this Friday. Yikes!!! I feel so unprepared. The most inexpensive look I can pull off would be a 1940’s girl. I have a black hairnet and back seam stockings. I seriously need to get creative…any ideas are helpful! Also if anyone needs to get rid of a 1940’s dress; sell it for cheap, I’d like to know; I need a dress for the night too. I’m a size small. Thank you!
