Back in the '80s, Night Flight used to run these and I've loved them ever since. Thanks for the link -- it never occured to me to look for them on YouTube!

Of course, you've just cursed me from getting a good night's sleep tonight...

I've got a couple dvds worth of these, I love them. They're even better with the Mystery Science Theater 3000 treatment!

I love Coronets -- I remember seeing them presented, entirely unironically, in class, and it was where I learned that splicing film with masking tape is not a good idea.

I've still got a few very faded 16mm prints of these -- "How To Write a Report," "How to Use Verbs," and similar English class subjects. Very educational!

How to Use Verbs? You meaning I are dood it wrong all these years?

Ironically, Handy's We Drivers, with its safe-and-sensible advice to motorists, holds up better after 70-plus years than a lot of those postwar mental-hygiene pieces. I guess stupid drivers are stupid drivers no matter how much society changes.
