Just received this brand new the Few A-2.
After trying a few reasonably priced A-2s from various highly regarded manufacturers, I decided to pull the trigger on a more expensive one. Because the price of the European and American made A-2s have gone up over the past year and become comparable to some never been worn second hand Japanese brands' A-2s, I have decided to try the Japanese brands this time. My first choice was a Dubow made by Rainbow Country but it was in size 38. Although my chest do measure some 38 inches, I am just shy of 5'6 and have taken to buying small in stead of medium because of jacket length and a tighter fit. I have decided to go down one size this time also. My second choice is the Few. I had to choose between a Dubow and this one and have decided to try a pre-war model. This is an old model likely from 2006-2007 purchased through auction but as you can see the sleeves in the picture, it has never been worn. It still has the lovely new leather smell. They use 2 kinds of threads, brown and green in the knit giving it a brownish green or greenish brown colour.
